Sam Divine launches first-ever Ibiza headline residency at Cova Santa
Sam Divine debuts her new “555” concept across four summer dates rooted in grassroots energy.
The house queen, Sam Divine, has announced her first-ever Ibiza headline residency, bringing her new “555” concept to Cova Santa. The four-date summer run will take place June 13, August 22, September 16 and September 23.
Known as the “First Lady” of Defected Records, Sam Divine is now stepping into her own. A new era, fully on her own terms, she is channeling her sound into 555, which is a label and an event series combined.
The 555 name comes from its original format: five cities, five-hour open-to-close sets and £5 early-bird tickets, designed to make real house music experiences available to everyone again.
555 at its core is all about returning to Divine's roots while reconnecting with the true soul of house music. Built around a back-to-basics ethos, it focuses on intimate, dancefloor-first experiences, ingrained in the spirit of grassroots club culture. Originally launched alongside her brand-new single 'The Groove', the 555 concept was born out of Divine’s intentional career shift and a period shaped by sobriety, wellness and a deeper reconnection with why she fell in love with dance music.
This moment is huge for Divine, but also for all women in the dance music world. Ibiza residences, especially headline ones, are historically dominated by men. Sam Divine is stepping into this space this summer and is reminding us that the longevity and power that women bring to house music isn’t going anywhere. She continues to shape the scene and redefine it, too.
Taking place at the iconic Ibiza hillside venue Cova Santa, 555’s debut will feature handpicked artists from the 555 family. The residency will blend open-air and indoor spaces for Divine’s signature extended sets.
