Pacha New York to host North America’s largest pride event
Pacha New York plans to celebrate Pride alongside its grand opening.
Pacha New York is set to make a defining entrance into Pride Month 2026, hosting Planet Pride, a high-production event positioned as North America’s largest Pride party. Taking place on June 27th, 2026, the event marks a pivotal moment not only for Pride weekend but for the rebirth of one of New York City’s most talked-about nightlife venues, formerly known as the Brooklyn Mirage.
Held at the newly reimagined Pacha New York in Brooklyn, Planet Pride will run for nearly 12 hours across multiple stages, blending global electronic talent with immersive visuals and large-scale production. The lineup features major names including Don Diablo, Loud Luxury, ACRAZE, and Ty Sunderland, alongside Ines Rau and a range of emerging artists. Organizers have also teased a “major surprise performer,” further elevating anticipation.
Marketed as more than just a party, Planet Pride is designed as a full-spectrum celebration of identity, freedom, and expression. With multi-room programming and high-energy production, the event aims to create a unified dancefloor experience reflective of Pride’s global spirit.
The event also anchors a broader transformation. The Brooklyn Mirage is being rebranded as Pacha New York following a takeover by FIVE Holdings, the parent company behind the iconic Ibiza-born brand. The 80,000-square-foot East Williamsburg space is set to reopen in June 2026 for a seasonal run, with pre-opening events expected to begin around June 13th. The adjacent Great Hall will operate year-round, signaling a longer-term investment in the complex.
The relaunch follows a turbulent chapter, as the Brooklyn Mirage faced cancellations, permitting issues, and eventual bankruptcy after failing to reopen last year. In a notable goodwill gesture, Pacha is offering 100% credit to fans who held unrefunded tickets from previously canceled shows, an effort to rebuild trust within the community.
While the NYC Pride March remains the largest Pride gathering in North America, drawing millions, Planet Pride positions Pacha at the center of the weekend’s nightlife, delivering a bold, high-stakes return at the intersection of music, culture, and celebration.
