Tchami enters a ‘new phase’ with new tour announcement following cryptic Instagram rebrand

Tchami signals major creative shift as his rebrand rollout and U.S. tour announcement spark fan speculation

Those paying close attention noticed a couple of months back when French DJ, Tchami, completely wiped his Instagram. This tactic has become widely known for artists who are planning a rebrand or a new phase. Following the success of the 2025 tour alongside AC Slater for Confession vs Night Bass, the Parisian DJ has officially announced a new era and tour.

The tour is set to kick off in the United States with an opening stop in Philadelphia at The Ave. While only eight dates have been officially revealed so far, more stops are expected to follow. His website hints at additional cities throughout 2026, including a return to Club Space, signaling a broader rollout beyond initial announcements

For years, fans have quickly identified the signature priest collar that Tchami has rocked on stages for performances. Earlier this year, that identity appeared to shift when he shared visuals of the outfit and his shades engulfed in flames. The imagery deliberately closes out a defining era while creating space for a new idea to emerge. The post concluded with a message signaling an expected announcement for May 8th.

The tour announcement artwork continues the theme, showing his recognizable silhouette consumed by fire. With the tour beginning in late May, the timing suggests fans can likely expect more announcements in the coming weeks. Some fans are speculating that new music is on the way to accompany the new era tour.

Beyond the tour, Tchami is also expected to appear at North Coast Music Festival later this year, as well as Euforia Festival in June. These performances place him on major stages as his new era unfolds, giving audiences an early look at what his next phase is.

While the full details, including ticketing, remain under wraps, anticipation continues to build among longtime listeners.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
