Same Same But Different & Almost Nakey announce RESET wellness event in San Diego featuring Big Gigantic

Big Gigantic headlines RESET, a Sunday wellness-meets-music event in San Diego.

Your Sunday scaries are officially cancelled because Same Same But Different and Almost Nakey have announced a new event, RESET. The ultimate Sunday collab is a one-day beachside wellness and music gathering set for August 2, 2026, at Fit Social Club in San Diego.

Topping the first phase lineup announcement is none other than Grammy-acclaimed Big Gigantic. The duo just released a new banger, “Funk Rocket,” in collaboration with AHEE, whimsically blending saxophone hip-hop with bass-heavy dubstep. The duo will be ending the cleansing event with a sunset set. 

RESET will also feature a full day of activities, including barefoot beach runs, yoga classes, sound healing, a group ocean plunge, workouts, speakers, cold plunges, saunas, beach games, and healthy eats. This dynamic programming is centered around movement, recovery, and connection. Guests can flow through a mix of experiences as well as wellness, longevity, and mindset-driven programming, all complemented by games and moments designed to spark connection.

We’ve seen this shift recently, where dance music events are evolving beyond showing up for the headline set format. More than ever, promoters and organizers are curating fan-first experiences and full-scale activities surrounding the music. RESET fits seamlessly into this, bringing an intentional space designed for connection and building a deep-rooted community.
