Forbidden Kingdom drops phase two lineup for upcoming 2026 edition
Forbidden Kingdom 2026 lineup just added a GRAMMY winner to the headliner list, and it’s not a dubstep act.
Insomniac and its dedicated bass music brand Bassrush announced the second phase of the Forbidden Kingdom 2026 lineup, and it’s safe to say the East Coast’s largest dedicated bass festival just got a whole lot heavier. The two-day event goes down April 25-26 at Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, drawing bass music lovers from across the country for two days and nights of hard-hitting music and an impressively immersive production.
The phase two additions are no joke. “Dubstep maven” Mary Droppinz, SVDDEN DEATH, and Chicago-based Whethan have all been added to the bill. But the most unexpected addition might be the one generating the most buzz: GRAMMY Award-winning rapper and singer T-Pain, who will be stepping behind the decks for a rare DJ set.
“Gather beneath the dragons, storm the castles, and feel the fire of the bass ignite your soul across our enchanted stages! Armor up and prepare to unleash your spirit in a land where bass and magic collide!” Forbidden Kingdom says on its website.
Those names join an already loaded phase one roster that includes dubstep powerhouse Subtronics, Zeds Dead (always iconic), Virtual Riot, and ATLiens. If that’s not enough, the festival is also serving up a series of back-to-back sets that are must-sees, including Liquid Stranger B2B Mersiv, Getter B2B Space Laces, Automhate B2B Mad Dubz, and Jon Casey B2B Viperactive.
Rounding out the top of the massive lineup are Deathpact, Kompany, PhaseOne, Grabbitz, Boogie T, Shanghai Doom, Reaper, Ivy Lab, Hedex, and He$h B2B Codd Dubz; with dozens more artists still on the bill.
Beyond the music, Insomniac says the festival will deliver immersive stage designs while keeping its fan-first approach centered on accessibility and affordability, which is a refreshing commitment in today’s festival landscape.
