Tahoe Live expands to Colorado with free mountaintop launch party

Colorado Live kicks off with a free mountain top event featuring Valentino Khan and OKAYVAL at 11,000 feet.

Tahoe Live is officially expanding its footprint into Colorado, announcing a high elevation launch event set for March 20. The debit arrives in the form of a free mountaintop party at Copper Mountain, signaling the start of a new chapter for a fast-rising winter festival brand.

Set at 11,000 feet, the one-day event transforms the summit into an open-air dance floor, blending panoramic views with high-energy electronic music. Attendees can access the experience with a lift ticket or pass, offering a relatively accessible way to tap into a high-altitude event. Beyond the music, the mountain setting brings a distinct atmosphere that sets it apart from traditional events.

Soundtracking the afternoon are Valentino Khan and OKAYVAL, bringing a festival-level booking to an unconventional setting. Pulling off a production of this scale at altitude is no small feat, with teams working behind the scenes to transport staging and equipment up the mountain.

The launch also serves as a formal introduction to Colorado Live, a concept inspired by the momentum Tahoe Live has built in recent years. Known for merging electronic music with ski culture, the brand has created a distinct space in the destination festival market. Framed by the surrounding peaks, the environment plays a central role in shaping the overall experience.

Tahoe Live’s 2025 edition expanded to three sold-out days and featured a stacked lineup of major electronic acts. The event further cemented its reputation as a must-attend winter festival, drawing fans looking for both music and mountain adventure. The weekend ultimately reinforced the appeal of combining large-scale electronic bookings with a more immersive setting.

With Colorado now entering the picture, the brand appears focused on scaling its vision across new regions. This initial launch points towards a broader rollout that could shape the landscape of winter music festival making its mark on the scene.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
