Dirtybird launches adorable line of collectible plushies

Snag the Dirty Birdy collectible plushies now at the Dirtybird online store, while these little guys are still in the nest.

Dirtybird Records is getting soft in the best possible way. The San Francisco-born electronic music label, best known for its high-energy house beats and good vibes, has ventured into seriously cute territory with the launch of its new Dirty Birdy plushie line. The squishy collectibles, inspired by characters from the label’s release artwork, officially dropped Monday and are already giving fans a reason to redecorate their shelves.

The first wave features three designs, each pulled from a different fan-favorite track: VNSSA’s “One Pill,” Steve Darko’s “Fried or Fertilized,” and Walker & Royce’s “The Boy.” Behind each little guy is an alumnus of Dirtybird’s Artist in Residence program: Dan May from 2016, Felicia Chiao from 2018, and Nicolas Barrome from 2023, all of whom helped define the label’s unmistakable visual language over the years. Seeing their work in plushie form feels like a natural and fun evolution of Dirtybird.

Dirtybird Records

The Artist in Residence program has been one of the coolest things about Dirtybird Records for years. It gives visual artists a platform alongside the music and produces the kind of artwork that makes you want to stare at a record sleeve.

Now, thanks to the Dirty Birdy line, that artwork has a whole new dimension: you can squeeze it. The plushies are designed to grow into a full collectible series, giving fans something to hunt, trade, and obsess over between festival seasons.

It’s a move that feels very on-brand for a label that has never taken itself too seriously. From the beloved Dirtybird Campout to the Dirtybird BBQ series, the label has always been as much about community and personality as it is about music.

Plus, with nearly 400 releases deep, that spirit isn’t slowing down. The Dirty Birdy collectible plushies are available now at the Dirtybird online store. You can also sign up for updates to stay in the loop on future drops.

I've been writing, covering events, and doing interviews with Exron for nearly four years, but have been an EDM-lover for over a decade. The music community and industry has a special place in my heart and I love exploring the depths. EDC Las Vegas is my favorite festival and this year will be my sixth time attending. Some other recent festivals I've been are Ultra, Elements, Lost Lands, Electric Forest, and Arc. I've been getting more into experimental bass, but techno and house will always have my heart. <3
