Hannah Laing cancels entire Ibiza summer residency

Hannah Laing “hasn’t been feeling right” about her planned Ibiza residency.

Hannah Laing has announced she will no longer be moving forward with her Ibiza residency for Summer 2026. In a vulnerable statement shared across social media, the Scottish DJ and Producer opened up about her decision to trust her gut, after an 11 year streak of performing on the island.

In the post, Laing expresses that the upcoming residency, “hasn’t been feeling right… and [she has] always learned to trust that feeling.” She continues to share that after a lot of careful thought, she will not be going through with the residency.

Recently, Laing has consciously decided to perform fewer shows in 2026 and has a goal to be more selective when it comes to gigs in order to put herself first and avoid feeling the stress she has previously allowed herself to undertake. She writes, “ I had to ask myself if this is already feeling this stressful before summer has even started…why am I doing it?.”

This important question was the fundamental reason as to why Laing has chosen to cancel her residency and focus on her well-being. She explained that the decision has nothing to do with the venue, but rather “sometimes things just don’t align the way you hoped they would. And rather than push through something that doesn’t feel right, I’m listening to myself.”

Due to the exclusivity of the planned residency, Laing had not booked any additional shows on the island for 2026, leaving her current Ibiza schedule empty for the first time in over a decade. However, fans won’t have to wait long to see her elsewhere as she confirmed that her full summer festival dates will be released as soon as possible.

In closing her statement, she shared a heartfelt thank you to her supporters, noting that she looks forward to the next time they can all dance together again.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists include Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Gorgon City, Prospa :)
