Sónar Festival expands to a 4 day event across Barcelona
Barcelona’s iconic Sónar Festival is set to expand to 4 days from June 18th through 21st.
Fans can expect Sónar Festival to be larger than life this summer, as this citywide celebration returns bringing over three decades of dance music to the people of Barcelona. Sónar Festival is part of Sónar Music Week, a 7-day string of events that showcase music, art, and technology, commemorating the culture of clubs and festivals alike.
This year, Sónar Week 2026 will feature 18 stages with over 180 artists across a wide variety of genres. Sónar Festival has six of these stages, with three indoor and three outdoor. This week-long extravaganza is expected to draw more than 172,000 visitors to Barcelona, with 30 different conferences happening across the weekend. It is basically Spain’s version of Miami Music Week, an unmissable experience for electronic music fans and artists alike.

Another element of Sónar Week is Sónar District, the new open-air venue at Parc del Fòrum. Sónar District hosts labels and parties throughout the weekend, as well as Sónar Kids for those looking for family-friendly options. This allows parents to involve their families in this multi-generational celebration. Guests will be able to experience various acts and labels throughout the weekend, including Solid Grooves, Joseph Capriati, Michael Bibi, PAWSA, elrow, Kettama, Sammy Virji, Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Chris Stussy, Dom Dolla, SBTRKT, Boyz Noize, and so many more.
Sónar Music Week tickets move quickly, with many events already sold out for the season. Fans looking to secure Sónar Festival passes can grab them here, while the remaining party lineups are expected to drop in the coming weeks. Whether someone is a seasoned veteran or a first-timer, no matter the phase of life, there is something for every electronic music lover at Sónar Music Week.
