SG Lewis ends 11-year record deal and returns to independent career
SG Lewis will be releasing future music under his label, “Forever Days”.
As of May 6, 2026, SG Lewis has officially announced his transition to becoming a fully independent artist. Following the release of his EP, “HEAT” with Tove Lo, the British singer and producer has officially fulfilled his four-album deal with PMR Records, a partnership that began back in 2014.
This marks a major milestone in SG Lewis’ career, as it is the first time in 11 years that he has been independent of a record label. Reflecting on his journey in a recent Instagram post, SG Lewis noted that over the past decade he has released music he was “really proud of, and connect with so many of [his fans] through it.” However, he has never owned any of the recordings released in the last decade.

SG Lewis’s new chapter involves a “dedicated team of people with a shared vision,” as he transitions to releasing music exclusively through his own music label, Forever Days. Created in 2023, Forever Days is a music label dedicated to be in “pursuit of euphoric, soulful electronic music that soundtracks the nights and days that last forever.”
SG Lewis has promised his fans that this turning point is just the beginning, and fans can expect more music being released from the label by both himself and other artists. He also has plans to take the Forever Days label on tour and share the collective by curating parties around the world this year.

Ultimately, transitioning to independence is a strategic move that allows SG Lewis to reclaim his musical freedom and take total control over his release schedule, while providing a powerful platform to amplify other musicians through his own label.
