The Widdler announces huge U.S. tour ahead of new album

The Widdler has unveiled his ambitious ‘Midnight Mass’ tour, bringing immersive electronic experiences nationwide.

Electronic artist The Widdler has revealed plans for a major U.S. tour titled ‘Midnight Mass’ in support of his album ‘Gathering.’ The tour spans over three months and will hit major cities across the country, giving fans a first look at the artist’s latest creative direction.

The tour concept, as explained by Yoni, aka The Widdler, invites audiences into the immersive late-night headspace of his studio sessions. Describing the show as “dark, spacious, and eclectic,” he aims to transport listeners into a unique environment. The performance focuses on the music itself over typical concert hype.

‘Midnight Mass’ promises to appeal to a broad range of electronic music fans, from underground devotees to mainstream listeners seeking new sounds. Yoni envisions the shows as gatherings for “low frequency lovers, underground soldiers, mainstream misfits, and creatures of the night.” Fans can expect an intimate set connecting rhythm and bass.

The tour kicks off on February 27 in Asheville, North Carolina, and will include stops in Dallas, Des Moines, Indianapolis, and Charlotte, among other cities. Dates continue into May, with shows in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Austin, Seattle, and New Orleans. Each performance will offer a unique mix of tracks and live elements.

Visual elements are a central part of the experience. The Widdler’s signature mystical aesthetics, as seen in his promo videos, display the mood of the album. Candles, symbols, and low-light settings set the stage for an unforgettable sensory journey.

Fans are encouraged to disconnect from devices, embrace the night, and fully engage with the performance. With this tour, The Widdler seeks to redefine the live electronic experience to see more into the eyes of the artist.

Hey everyone, I'm Neil! I first joined the dance community back in 2019 when my friend dragged me to Moonrise, my first-ever music festival, and I became hooked ever since. I like to dabble in most genres with my favorites being tech house and melodic techno. When it comes to studio output, Camelphat is part of my daily listening rotation and for a live performance, I'll never miss a Solomun set. You can likely catch me on the dance floor somewhere in Brooklyn!
