Rinse and Repeat Records celebrates label launch with debut ‘Fresh Pressed’ EP

Rinse and Repeat Records makes its official debut with a new EP highlighting Jacksonville’s underground scene.

Rinse and Repeat Records officially enters the picture with ‘Fresh Pressed,’ a debut EP that marks an important moment for Jacksonville’s underground electronic music community. The five-track release introduces the label’s mission while spotlighting artists connected to the city and the broader Southeast scene.

Based in Northeast Florida, Rinse and Repeat Records focuses on artists who are already active in local clubs. ‘Fresh Pressed’ reflects that approach, bringing together producers whose sounds are shaped by real dancefloor experience rather than trends or gimmicks, and grounded in the spaces where the music is regularly played.

The EP features new music from Lewis ID, T.Laabs, Luján, Watts, and collaborators SatelliteFrank and Evan Cavallini. Together, the tracklist offers a clear sense of each producer’s approach, highlighting a range of styles while staying rooted in house and techno. Rather than positioning itself around a single sound, Rinse and Repeat Records treats releases as documentation of the community behind them.

More than just a compilation, ‘Fresh Pressed’ highlights Rinse and Repeat Records’ goal of supporting regional talent while helping elevate Jacksonville’s visibility within the Southeast electronic music landscape. The release reinforces the city’s growing presence in the underground, showing how local scenes continue to shape the region’s broader sound.

Released Friday, February 6, ‘Fresh Pressed’ serves as both an introduction and a foundation for the label. As Rinse and Repeat Records begins its catalog, the EP offers a focused look at where the community stands now and where it’s headed next.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
