Winter Music Conference unveils first wave of stacked programming for upcoming 2026 edition

Winter Music Conference returns to Miami in 2026 with its most ambitious program yet, spotlighting stacked panels and pool parties.

Winter Music Conference is turning up the heat for 2026, revealing a hefty first wave of programming. With its 36th edition locked for March 24–26 at Miami’s Kimpton EPIC Hotel, this year’s conference leans in with a clear eye on the future of global dance culture.

Speakers include some of the most recognizable players, like Beatport, Create Music Group, Prodigy Artists, AFEM, and more. Across the refreshed two-track format, delegates can expect panels, keynotes, and workshops. Moreover, the programming will cover everything from label strategy and rights management to creative technology, performance, and the economics of streaming and live events.

One of this year’s most talked-about additions is the new A&R Pop-Up Lounge, presented in partnership with Label Radar. Housed inside the WMC Gear Exhibition Room, the lounge invites emerging artists to bring USB demos and hand them directly to major labels. Some of these labels include Ultra Records, Experts Only, Dirty Workz, and Create Music Group, with more partners to follow. Undoubtedly, these fast-paced sessions will break down barriers between producers and A&R teams, offering rare face-to-face access.

On the daytime party front, WMC is teaming up with Beatport Live for a three-day rooftop pool party series on the Kimpton EPIC Pool Deck overlooking Biscayne Bay. Produced with support from L-Acoustics, AlphaTheta, and FEVER, the showcases will spotlight leading electronic labels and artists. Certainly, the series will take place in a setting designed for both networking and pure celebration.

Meanwhile, the Gear Exhibition Room returns as a hands-on playground where DJs, producers, and creators can test the latest hardware and software from top-tier brands. This, of course, will be complemented by focused workshops on production, live performance, and career development. WMC is also rolling out a strong slate of brand partners—among them adidas, Amaze, Beatport, L-Acoustics, AlphaTheta, and FEVER.

Adding to the sense of homecoming, the International Dance Music Awards will once again take place during Winter Music Conference 2026. The IDMAs occur in partnership with Bridges for Music, underscoring a shared commitment to artistry, community, and social impact.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 12 consecutive years (still counting). As an avid traveler, I'm definitely not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My current bucket list festivals right now are Tomorrowland in Belgium, Cercle Festival in France, Kappa Futur in Italy, and Sonus in Croatia. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists are Franky Wah, BICEP, Cassian, and Mochakk.
