EDC Thailand to return in 2026 with new December dates
Insomniac has confirmed that EDC Thailand will return December 18–20, 2026, marking a shift from January to December and signaling a long-term vision for the festival in Southeast Asia.
EDC Thailand’s third edition is set for December 18–20, 2026, at Rhythm Park. The shift from January to December reflects Insomniac’s response to how fans plan travel and time off, aiming for a schedule that better fits the festival’s international audience. A limited presale for December 2026 is open and starting at $229. The early announcement and presale reflect Insomniac’s commitment to establishing EDC Thailand as a consistent presence in the region.
The January 2026 edition brought international fans to Phuket for a weekend of music, large-scale production, and community. EDC’s focus on immersive experiences and connection continues to define its presence in Thailand.

Pasquale Rotella noted that moving EDC Thailand to December aligns with festivalgoers’ schedules and travel patterns. The new dates offer cooler weather and more flexibility, supporting Insomniac’s vision for Thailand as a growing global music destination.
December 2026 will expand on concepts introduced earlier in the year, including Hotel EDC Thailand and Downtown EDC, which brought new fan activations and local influences to the festival. Binary Beach, inspired by Thai culture and ocean themes, offered a space for reflection and self-expression.
Looking ahead, Insomniac has also revealed plans for a new All Access Experience Pass for December 2026. The pass will include entry to the official Thursday night opening beach party as well as daily day parties from Friday through Sunday, allowing Headliners to extend the EDC experience beyond the main festival hours. More details on this offering and the festival lineup are expected in the coming months.
As part of the global Electric Daisy Carnival brand, EDC Thailand has quickly established itself as a key event in Southeast Asia. After debuting in January 2025 and returning in January 2026, the move to December feels like a defining step forward. With Phuket as its home, EDC Thailand is positioning itself not just as a festival, but as a destination.
