DJ Snake battles health issue and cancels upcoming tour dates

DJ Snake has canceled his upcoming tour dates after revealing an ongoing health issue that now requires surgery and recovery time.

DJ Snake has shared a tough update with fans, revealing that he’s been dealing with an ongoing health issue that has finally forced him to slow down. In a recent Instagram post, he explained that after talking with his doctors, surgery is now unavoidable.

According to the statement, the surgery is scheduled for early February and comes with a serious recovery period. DJ Snake said he’ll need about a full month of rest afterward to properly heal and get back to feeling like himself again.

Because of this, all of his upcoming shows have been canceled, including his highly anticipated India tour. He admitted the decision was incredibly hard to make, but made it clear that his health has to come first if he wants to return at 100 percent.

Fans and fellow DJs immediately flooded the comments with support, sending love and well-wishes his way. DJ Snake reassured them that this break is about coming back stronger, not stepping away for good.

The timing also raises questions about his festival schedule later this spring. DJ Snake was just announced to play Coachella’s Quasar stage during Weekend Two in April, but with surgery and recovery happening in February, that appearance is now uncertain.

For now, nothing has been officially confirmed or canceled regarding Coachella. Fans are hoping for the best, but most agree that taking care of his health matters more than any single set. As DJ Snake put it himself, he’ll be back soon, stronger than before.

Hey everyone, I'm Neil! I first joined the dance community back in 2019 when my friend dragged me to Moonrise, my first-ever music festival, and I became hooked ever since. I like to dabble in most genres with my favorites being tech house and melodic techno. When it comes to studio output, Camelphat is part of my daily listening rotation and for a live performance, I'll never miss a Solomun set. You can likely catch me on the dance floor somewhere in Brooklyn!
