Lane 8 celebrates 10 years of This Never Happened with four shows across Colorado

Lane 8 will mark a decade of his This Never Happened imprint with four immersive, “no-phones” shows across Colorado in June 2026.

Lane 8 is heading back to Colorado this summer for a special, multi-stop run celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his This Never Happened label and event series. The June dates will combine Colorado’s stunning summer backdrop with Lane 8’s emotionally-driven sound, bringing the beloved concept to four distinct venues over two weeks.

The run opens June 6 at Dillon Amphitheater with Summer Gathering Pt. 1, followed by Summer Gathering Pt. 2 at Echo Mountain on June 7. The series then shifts to Denver’s iconic Mission Ballroom on June 13 for Cross Pollination before closing June 14 at Mishawaka Amphitheater with a four-hour I Made You a New Mixtape set.

this never happened lineup and dates

Each stop will be presented as a This Never Happened event, continuing the project’s emphasis on presence and uninterrupted listening. Phones and cameras will be restricted, keeping the focus on music, atmosphere, and shared experience rather than documentation.

The venues themselves play a central role in the story. For the opening Summer Gathering dates, Dillon Amphitheater offers a rare high-altitude setting overlooking Lake Dillon, while Echo Mountain’s forested terrain brings a more rugged, intimate feel to the following night’s show. Supporting lineups will feature label frequenters like Dirty South and Christian Löffler, among others.

In contrast, the Cross Pollination event will take place at Mission Ballroom, giving Lane 8 the space to realize his immersive This Never Happened vision indoors. The night will feature a rare b2b set from Lane 8 and Sultan + Shepard, alongside additional high-profile b2b performances. The run then returns outdoors at Mishawaka Amphitheatre, where Lane 8’s extended set unfolds in one of Colorado’s most intimate and scenic riverfront settings for a fitting finale.

For the Echo Mountain date, official shuttle options from Denver will be available to help navigate the remote location and shifting mountain conditions. Across the run, Lane 8 has also partnered with PLUS1, donating one dollar from every ticket to organizations supporting wildlife conservation and habitat protection.

Founded in 2016, This Never Happened has grown from a simple no-phones concept into a globally influential melodic house label. As the anniversary year unfolds, the Colorado shows represent a milestone moment and a continuation of the project’s original mission: creating space for deeper connection through music.

Tickets for the first three nights can be purchased through AXS starting on Friday, January 23rd at 10:00 am MT, while Mishawaka tickets will be available for purchase through the venue. Artist presale will begin on January 20th at 10:00 am MT with pre-registration through Laylo.

I've been a part of the dance music scene for nearly a decade and with Exron for more than half of that time. My first event was Diplo's Mad Decent but these days you'll find me at Club Space or the Brooklyn Mirage. Some of my top artists are G Jones, Tipper, Of The Trees, and CharlestheFirst. My favorite genres are techno, experimental bass, and ambient but I'll get down to anything with a beat!
