Of The Trees wiping his Instagram isn’t subtle, and it isn’t accidental. In electronic music especially, a full social reset has become the universal signal that an artist is closing one chapter and deliberately stepping into the next. Archive everything, erase the timeline, remove the noise. What’s left is a clean slate and a clear message: whatever comes next is not an extension of the past, it’s a reintroduction, so what is next for Of The Trees?
Fans clicking through the lone bio link on the vacant Instagram profile landed on Moonglade Park, a strange, quietly detailed website that feels more like an abandoned visitor center than a rollout page. The aesthetic is from the late 1990s, when the internet was the behemoth it is today. There’s a calendar, scattered notices, and just enough interactivity to make it clear this isn’t accidental. It fits with Of The Trees’ outdoorsy style, having performed from a tree house during his ‘Moonglade’ tour and, in summer 2025, introducing his camping festival, Camp Alderwood.
On the right side of the site, there is a calendar with some select dates highlighted. Specifically, January 16 stands out, where a on-screen pop-up states, “January 16, 2026. Dolori Pass opens to the public.” Clicking on the link for more information leads you to a new site announcing the pre-save for a new single, “Dolori,” coming on January 16th.
Beyond the new single, nothing has been formally announced yet, but wiping the feed and replacing it with a slow-burn digital environment says plenty on its own. This feels intentional, patient, and cinematic, leaning into atmosphere over hype cycles. Of The Trees has taken it back to the old-school, with a basic HTML site, and teasers along the way for fans as they wait to see what comes next.
