Alison Wonderland mourns loss of dog Molly after 14 years
Alison Wonderland has opened up on Instagram about losing her beloved dog during one of the biggest years of her life.
Alison Wonderland has shared some really tough news with fans, revealing that her longtime dog Molly has passed away after nearly 14 years together. In an emotional Instagram post, the DJ and producer opened up about how quiet life feels without her, saying the loss has left a huge hole she wasn’t ready for.
The timing made it even harder, coming during one of the biggest moments of Alison’s life. She had just dropped a new album and welcomed her son, and in the middle of all that joy, losing Molly felt especially heavy and confusing.
Molly wasn’t just a pet; she was there for everything. From friendships and relationships to breakups, anxiety, career highs, and creative moments in the studio, Molly was always by Alison’s side, no matter what was going on behind the scenes.
Alison also shared that Molly’s passing came with no warning, which made it even more painful. She found some comfort knowing Molly was in her husband’s arms when she passed, joking that he was probably Molly’s favorite anyway.
Since then, the grief has shown up in small, everyday ways. Alison says she can’t walk past another dog without tearing up, often telling strangers to hug their pets a little tighter, and she still waits to hear Molly’s collar in the mornings.
The hardest part has been trying to explain the loss to her young son, who still asks if Molly might come back. While Alison waited months to share the news, she said it felt right to finally talk about it and honor a dog who meant so much to her and her fans.
