T-Pain to perform first-ever headline dubstep show
T-Pain debuts dubstep sound with Bass Bootcamp live streams leading up to headline event in Atlanta to close out 2025.
We all know and love T-Pain for the songs that defined an era. From Bartender to I’m Sprung, his catalog is pure early-2000s nostalgia. The kind that still hits the second it comes on. In 2025, he’s proving that evolution has always been part of the plan, officially stepping into dubstep with the announcement of his first-ever headline show in the genre.
Rather than jumping straight into a venue, T-Pain is building anticipation through a multi-night livestream series that leads into a grand finale in Atlanta. It’s a great way to generate hype while also giving fans a real listen into what he’s been working on behind the scenes for quite some time now.
His growing presence in EDM was impossible to ignore after his surprise Lost Lands crater set. This performance became a standout talking point across the community, with fans embracing the thrill of seeing an artist tied to so many formative memories fully lean into dubstep. It was unexpected, fun, and widely praised.
T-Pain has been collaborating with respected bass artists, including Peekaboo and DJ Diesel, making it clear that he’s surrounding himself with voices deeply rooted in the scene. That lineup naturally sparks curiosity about who else might appear throughout the livestreams and in Atlanta.
Much of this momentum ties back to his ongoing work with DJ Diesel. The two have been aligning on multiple bass-focused projects, such as Big Game Weekend in San Francisco as well as a newly announced back-to-back at Electric Forest. Two larger-than-life figures from outside EDM now pushing dubstep forward together feels significant.
T-Pain’s Bass Bootcamp makes a finale on December 18 in Atlanta, where T-Pain will close out the event with a debut DJ set. Tickets are on sale now for a performance that promises to showcase his bass era in full force.
