European DJs who dominated the US market in 2025

2025 has been a breakthrough year for European DJs penetrating the U.S. market

As the electronic music scene moves through 2026, the European artists who broke through in America during 2025 continue to expand their presence across the U.S.

The U.S. electronic music scene has recently witnessed a major incursion by European DJs and producers, marking a significant shift in influence. What was once considered a difficult market to penetrate, particularly for artists from the UK and Europe, has become readily accessible to this new wave of talent.

These artists are now gaining mass appeal, prompting comparisons to the global dominance achieved by figures like Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta, and Martin Garrix, who rose to prominence in the mid-2010s. Front runners like Fred Again.. and Sammy Virji continue to gain widespread acceptance throughout the States, but they are no longer the only European artists successfully exporting the UK sound to America. Below are just a few of the many artists who won over America in 2025.

Cloonee

Already a favorite among electronic music listeners, 2025 marked Cloonee‘s breakout year, fueled by the release of his track “Stephanie,” now his highest-streamed single. The UK DJ and producer successfully converted U.S. audiences, regularly drawing thousands to major festival appearances, including Coachella and EDC Orlando.

Mau P

The Dutch superstar Mau P had a monumental 2025, solidifying his position as one of the year’s most exciting performers. His steady stream of club bangers, including “Tesla,” “The Less I Know The Better,” “Like I Like It”, and “People Talk and People Sing,” ensured his dominance on U.S. dancefloors.

Propsa

Rising UK duo Prospa are key players in the new wave of British electronic music artists making an impact in the U.S., successfully reintroducing classic dance music stateside. Prospa is renowned for their euphoric, big-room sound, which masterfully blends surging breakbeats, ecstatic synths, and diva vocal samples, effectively reviving and reinterpreting the spirit of ’90s rave and classic house.

Ben Sterling

Further contributing to the influx of impactful British electronic artists in the U.S. is Ben Sterling, who has quickly become a must-see act for house music lovers. A demonstration of his house music mastery, his newest single, “Hot Line 84’,” follows a series of acclaimed performances, including top-tier b2b sets with leading international DJs like Beltran and Tiga.

Beltran

Brazilian DJ Beltran has cultivated a devoted American fanbase through his distinctive style of tech house. This unique sound was on full display throughout 2025 with the release of his consistent EP series, “TOOLS FOR HARDWORKERS 002,” “TOOLS FOR HARDWORKERS 003,” and “TOOLS FOR HARDWORKERS 004.”

Josh Baker

Already successful as solo artists, cousins Max Dean and Luke Dean joined forces in 2025 to drop their inaugural collaborative effort, The Finest EP. The four tracks expertly showcase their merged artistic styles and have achieved widespread rotation in the U.S. since release. Since the release of The Finest EP, both artists have continued developing their profiles independently while maintaining their collaborative relationship.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists include Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Gorgon City, Prospa :)
