REZZ shares debut HypnoVizion compilation ‘Auditory Illusion Vol. 1’
Rezz releases ‘Auditory Illusion Vol. 1’, the debut compilation from her HypnoVizion label.
HypnoVizion steps into a new era with Rezz’s first label compilation, ‘Auditory Illusion Vol. 1’. The 11-track release dives into the industrial, midtempo, and experimental bass sound that continues to define and shape the label’s identity. The project crystallizes the world Rezz has been building since the label’s launch.
The compilation spotlights ten rising artists from across North America and Europe, each contributing to HypnoVizion’s darker, boundary-pushing edge. Highlights include CABLE’s “Midnight Animal,” VVN’s “To Bleed Without Color,” Blood Vision’s “Arachnophobia,” and Bardea’s “METALHEAD, alongside contributions from SHSTR, Voidnet, Rubi, VAKRM, MLOTIK, and Voliik. Together, these tracks form a seamless yet unpredictable journey through the compilation’s soundscape. The result is a cohesive listening experience that feels distinctly HypnoVizion, yet expansive enough to hint at where the label may head next.
At the center of the project is Rezz’s 2025 remake of “Selector,” a reimagined update of her 2016 breakout track. Following a landmark year that included her fifth album ‘As The Pendulum Swings’, the debut of PORTAL, and her seventh REZZ ROCKS, the new rework reinforces her dual role as creator and curator, shaping HypnoVizion’s evolving universe. “Selector”’s remix bridges her past and present, spotlighting how her production has grown sharper and more cinematic while still preserving the hypnotic DNA that defined her early work.
Launched in 2022, HypnoVizion has quickly become a home for forward-thinking electronic artists, with releases from What So Not, 1788-L, FISE, fknsyd, EDDIE, and more. ‘Auditory Illusion Vol. 1’ continues that trajectory, offering a clear look at the next wave of experimental producers defining the label’s future. More than a compilation, it signals where HypnoVizion is headed: a space for artists exploring new territory in experimental electronic music and pushing its boundaries in bold new ways, a blueprint for the label’s next chapter and its growing influence.
