Morflo Records releases bass heavy compilation album: Throw Down Vol. 2

MorFlo Records, the creative force led by bass producer Mersiv, returns with its seventh official compilation and a fresh surge of bass music from rising bass artists in the scene.

Throw Down Vol. 2 marks the second segment of a two-part series that began with Slow Down in March of 2023. Slow Down was built around melodic bass, offering listeners dreamy soundscapes that feel like dancing upon liquid gold. Throw Down is essentially its opposite and evil twin, an unapologetic collection of high-energy bass lines designed to melt minds and crack spines on the dance floor.

Throw Down Vol. 2 emerges from the shadows as an eleven-track conglomeration, featuring thirteen artists each bringing their own distinct flavor. MorFlo Records has evolved into much more than a traditional label, growing into a forward-thinking community of artists committed to pushing the boundaries of modern bass music. This movement inspires musicians and fans to embody their own unique expression and stay present in a world designed to distract you.

Throw Down Vol. 2 weaves together a beautifully expressive and psychedelic journey built through rich, full-bodied bass energy, dynamic textures, and the type of raw creativity that MorFlo Records embodies within every release. Known for highlighting the underground, MorFlo Records selected tracks from Mersiv, Seth David, Meduso, MYTHM, Don Jamal, SCHMUX, Noetika, Vyhara, and several more emerging producers.

This album compiles tracks from every corner of bass music, promising something for the drum n bass babes, riddim rats, and everything in between. The project reflects MorFlo Records’ focus on intentional sound design, collaboration, and artistic exploration.

In a bass world that is evolving faster than ever, Throw Down Vol. 2 stands as a reminder that authentic expression still leads the culture. MorFlo Records continues to prove that innovation, community, and creativity remain at the core of its identity.
