Zedd designs new roller coaster ride at Universal Studios in Japan
EDM lovers around the world are amped after Zedd announces a custom-designed roller coaster ride, set to debut at Universal Studios Japan early next year.
Zedd recently shared an Instagram post revealing the news about his curated CLUB ZEDD attraction, a reimagined version of the former Space Fantasy roller coaster. This exciting attraction, officially titled Space Fantasy The Ride: CLUB ZEDD REMIX, has been in development for the past year and is scheduled to open on January 30th, 2026.

This ride takes fans on an immersive musical journey that blends Zedd’s signature sound with theatrical displays of lasers, lights, and galaxy-inspired visuals. Riders move through starlit universes and neon tunnels, perfectly curated to mirror the energy and emotion of a live Zedd set.
This attraction emerges as the first of its kind, pulling EDM culture into a large-scale theme park space with clear and creative intention. Zedd’s new roller coaster will blend narrative, electronic production details, and innovative design to create a finely crafted experience.

Guests can expect synchronized audio, high-tech lighting effects, glistening lasers, and a full club atmosphere that pushes the boundaries of what a themed attraction can achieve. Universal Studios is renowned for its immersive attractions inspired by global entertainment, welcoming fans who are excited to see their favorite movies, characters, and stories come to life.
Universal Studios previously operated the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at its Orlando location, where riders could listen to tracks from several artists, including Daft Punk, while moving through a classic outdoor layout. While that attraction held a loyal following for sixteen years, its technology and concept remain far more traditional compared to what Universal Studios Japan is preparing to unveil with Space Fantasy The Ride: CLUB ZEDD REMIX.
