Zedd to headline Breakaway Beach debut during Miami Art Week

Breakaway Beach Brings Zedd, Chris Lorenzo, and More to Miami Art Week

Breakaway Presents is taking its festival empire seaside this December, bringing its first-ever Breakaway Beach event to Miami Art Week. The one-day festival lands December 6 at 38th Street and Collins Avenue — right on the sands of South Beach — promising a full day of sun, beats, and oceanfront energy.

At the top of the lineup sits Zedd, whose chart-topping hits “Clarity” and “Stay the Night” helped define the golden era of EDM. Known for his razor-sharp production and cinematic live visuals, Zedd’s set is expected to deliver the kind of high-gloss spectacle that fits perfectly against a Miami sunset.

Joining him is Chris Lorenzo, the UK producer who’s built a massive following through his bass-heavy house sound and collaborations with artists like Chris Lake and AC Slater. Expect a gritty, late-night vibe even under the bright Miami skies.

The undercard is stacked with fresh and eclectic names. Kaleena Zanders, one of dance music’s most powerful vocalists, will bring her commanding presence to the stage. Rising producer Daniel Allan, whose genre-blending sound has made him a name to watch, adds an indie-electronic touch to the day. Australian-born duo Night Tales are set to deliver their soulful, melodic house, while Miami’s own Benjamin Lloyd brings a local flavor with his signature deep-groove style.

The concept behind Breakaway Beach fits the brand’s mission to merge immersive production with regional energy — this time, fusing Miami’s art-driven creativity with the carefree spirit of a beachfront dance floor. Organizers have hinted at art installations and curated pop-ups that tie the music to the broader Art Week atmosphere.

Since debuting in Columbus, Ohio in 2013, the Breakaway brand has grown from a regional festival to a national powerhouse, expanding to cities like Phoenix, Dallas, Michigan, and Minnesota. This year’s Miami debut marks another bold step — and one that taps into the city’s unique mix of art, nightlife, and coastal luxury.

Lastly, tickets for Breakaway Beach: Miami Art Week start at $59.99 and are available now through Universe. With a lineup this strong and a setting this iconic, it’s shaping up to be one of the must-attend events of Art Week 2025.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
