EXIT Festival announces first-ever global tour to take place in 2026

EXIT Festival’s global tour in 2026 marks a bold new era for the Serbian powerhouse.

EXIT Festival, one of Europe’s most recognized music events, has announced its first-ever global tour, The First Chapter, set to take place in 2026. The expansion will see EXIT travel through Egypt, India, Malta, Croatia, Macedonia, and Serbia, marking a milestone transformation from a single-site heritage festival at the Petrovaradin Fortress into a worldwide cultural movement. The announcement follows mounting political pressure in Serbia tied to the festival’s public support for student protests, a moment that inspired EXIT to extend its message of unity and freedom far beyond its homeland.

According to EXIT Founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević, the move “aims to unite continents through music and carry the spirit of freedom wherever we go.” For over two decades, EXIT has represented not only electronic music excellence but also social activism, serving as a beacon for change in the Balkans. This new chapter is poised to reinforce the festival’s mission as a global bridge for creativity, inclusion, and cultural exchange.

The news was revealed during the Amsterdam Dance Event at the iconic Crane Faralda, 50 meters above the city. The first stop on EXIT’s global journey will be the Sea Star Festival in Umag, Croatia, a beloved Adriatic event that has previously hosted legendary names such as The Prodigy, Amelie Lens, Fatboy Slim, and Nina Kraviz. June will bring the tour to Macedonia, where the brand will introduce its signature sound and atmosphere to a new audience of regional fans.

In August, EXIT heads to Malta in partnership with G7 Events, one of the island’s most respected promoters, for a sun-soaked celebration across multiple venues. Then, in October, the festival will make history in Egypt with a breathtaking event near the Great Pyramids of Giza. Partnering with Venture Lifestyle, EXIT will bring modern electronic music to one of the world’s most ancient landmarks, a symbolic fusion of past and present that embodies the brand’s commitment to transcending borders through art and rhythm.

November will see EXIT close its debut global circuit with two final stops in Mumbai and Belgrade. Mumbai will mark the brand’s first-ever appearance in India, introducing the EXIT experience to a new continent. Meanwhile, Belgrade’s No Sleep Festival, already one of Europe’s most respected underground gatherings, will expand into an even larger-scale rave, building on a legacy that has featured Bicep, Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, and I Hate Models among its headliners.

The EXIT Global Tour 2026 not only signals a new era for the festival but also reaffirms its role as a cultural connector. By uniting nations under one rhythm, EXIT continues its 25-year legacy of promoting freedom, creativity, and togetherness through music. Additional tour details and new destinations are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, setting the stage for one of the most ambitious festival expansions in modern dance music history.
