What to expect at Spirit Lake this Hulaween 2025

It’s almost our favorite time of the year – Happy Hulaween!

Hulaween 2025 is right around the corner, meaning all of our favorite girly ghouls, whimsical werewolves, and wonderlust witches are ready to come out and play amongst the mysterious beauty of Spirit Lake. Each year, Hulaween attendees eagerly return to this remarkable lakefront visual light show, featuring four distinct, one-hour-long spectacles. Thursday kicks things off with Light, Friday leads us Into Shadow, followed by The Radiant Veil on Saturday, and the grand finale, The Dance of Light and Shadow, on Sunday. Each night after, the lake will transform into a very special and top-secret display known as The Oracle of Spirit Lake, providing mystically stunning and interactive visuals that invite guests to be part of the show.

Hulaween proudly represents what it means to truly be an independently run festival and remains as one of the last large-scale independent music festivals in the U.S. This legendary gathering boasts an iconic venue filled with more than just talented artists and mossy trees, offering an impressively diverse art scene with Spirit Lake as its centerpiece.

From October 30th to November 2nd, 2025, the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, will once again transform into the ultimate Halloween playground for lovers of art, music, and magic. This year’s theme, The Radiant Veil – The Dance of Light and Shadow, invites festival-goers to explore the balance between light and dark through performance, design, and imagination.

Spirit Lake’s creative direction is once again led by Justin Bolognino and Rüts, who bring years of experience weaving together technology, storytelling, and art. Returning installations like Paul Kuhn’s The Witch, The Ferryman, and Ogres + Rock Hands will make their presence known once again, alongside new and enchanting additions such as Thomas Dambo’s Spider and Pineapple Hands and SLOPS’ Spider’s Eggs. Duende Builds will also return with the beloved Birdhouse Village, and the House of Lost will reemerge with new programming and midnight rituals.

This year’s lineup will feature more than eighty acts across five stages. The Meadow Stage will host The String Cheese Incident with six sets marking their final shows of the year, along with Goose, Illenium, Sammy Virji, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Zeds Dead, Gorgon City, LSZEE, YDG, and DJ PeeWee. The underground OFF LIMITS 360-degree stage will also return with immersive visuals, fire effects, and cutting-edge soundscapes that will keep the forest alive all night long.

Hulaween continues to focus on fan experience and accessibility with camping opening early this year. Starting Tuesday at 2pm, attendees will have extra time to settle in before the magic begins.
