Meaning Behind The Album

Subtronics’ explains FIBONACCI as a representative of everything in life with an all encompassing code to the world. Along with that, Jesse believes FIBONACCI sequences nature and science.

The album’s name comes from the famous mathematical sequence where each number equates to the sum of two preceding ones. Notably, this is a motif that Subtronics adopts as the conceptual spine for FIBONACCI. The album name symbolizes the organizing principle for the emotional, sonic, and narrative journey for listeners.

At its core, Subtronics views his album as a mirror of the personal journey he has endured the last two years. To illustrate, the album conveys a range of emotions and experiences, and his reality in musical form.

The first part of the album was first announced in March 2025 from his set on Ultra Music Festival’s MainStage. In Jesse fashion, fans were given a sneak peak of Part 1 with tracks like “Lock In” with Wooli” and “Final Breath” with A Little Sound. It quickly gained viral traction with fans expressing their excitement for the album.

Part 1 (Oblivion) leans into Subtronics’ signature sound design and bass music roots. Moreover, part 2 (Infinity) of FIBONACCI will push new textures that will stretch the boundaries of Subtronics’ typical music style.

Subtronics continues his tour with his next date being at famous The Sphere, located in Las Vegas. Ultimately, the dubstep artist will end his tour with Decadence Festival in Arizona.
