SXM Festival to celebrate 9th edition with Carl Cox, Elderbrook, & Layton Giordani in Saint Martin

The Caribbean’s most iconic destination festival returns with oceanfront dance floors and unforgettable island adventures.

From golden sunrises to oceanfront dancefloors, SXM Festival turns Saint Martin into a living paradise of music and art. Returning for its 9th edition from March 18 – 22, 2026, the festival invites travelers to lose themselves in five days of rhythm, culture, and breathtaking scenery.

For the first time, Carl Cox headlines SXM, making his long-awaited debut in the Caribbean. He joins Deep Dish for a rare reunion set, along with Elderbrook (DJ set), Lee Burridge, Andhim, and Layton Giordani. Rising talents such as Spencer Brown, Natascha Polké, and Eli Fola round out the phase one lineup, blending icons with fresh new voices.

Since 2016, SXM has grown into the Caribbean’s most iconic destination festival, blending underground music with luxury travel and natural wonder. Its philosophy celebrates intimacy, artistry, and inclusivity, creating a community where international sounds meet island magic. Each year, Saint Martin transforms into a vibrant playground of energy, and creativity.

The beauty of SXM lies in its settings. Imagine barefoot dancing on a beach where the sand becomes a dancefloor, mornings that begin with sunrise sessions glowing in shades of pink and orange, and jungle raves hidden under palm canopies. Villa gatherings add a touch of private luxury, while catamaran cruises, culinary pop-ups, and art installations showcase the island’s cultural soul.

Festival founder Julian Prince describes the 2026 edition as “a celebration of music, art, and community alongside the Caribbean’s magical backdrop.” That vision shines through in SXM’s eco-conscious design, collaborations with local artists, and experiences that allow visitors to engage deeply with the island’s spirit.

For those seeking unforgettable moments, the Panorama Party crowns the festival with sweeping 360° views from the island’s highest peak. Tickets and travel information are available now online. With phase one revealed, the countdown has officially begun to a week of sun, sound, and paradise.

My name is Alejandra Benitez and I was born and raised in the DMV. Having close proximity to Washington D.C. means I am accustomed to a fast paced environment as things are constantly changing. For me, the EDM scene has provided so much comfort and space to really find myself even amongst chaos. My first ever show was Zeds Dead and it truly changed my outlook on community and further affirmed my love for music. I am a basshead at heart but enjoy exploring new genres and artists. Being a writer for Exron has given me an amazing opportunity to learn more about the electronic music industry and I love being able to express myself creatively. Some of my favorite artists include Levity, Rezz, Tape B, Disco Lines, and Sub Focus.
