Ghastly announces hiatus from project to focus on GHENGAR alias

David Lee Crow, also known as Ghastly, announces via Instagram that he will be focusing his energy on his Ghengar project.

David Lee Crow, known by stage names Ghastly and sometimes Ghengar, makes an important announcement on Instagram in regards to his creative path as an artist and producer. Ultimately, David announces that Ghastly will be going on an indefinite hiatus. Meanwhile, he will be focusing his energy on his project, Ghengar.

Ghastly introduces his statement with gratitude to his fans for their support over the last ten years. To illustrate, his fans’ support made it possible for him to travel the world, share his art, and start his family. He then continues his statement, talking about the tribulations he faces working on two projects while balancing his ADHD and raising a family. Specifically, balancing the two projects has left his creative energy as a constant crossroad of overanalyzing the possibilities of both Ghaslty and Ghengar.

In addition, Ghastly expresses his love for the Ghengar project. Specifically, it allows him to explore his imagination in a way he was never able to with Ghastly. Moreover, Ghastly describes his side project as something that he deeply resonates with, including dubstep, monsters, metal, and video games.

Although there is no exact plan for Ghastly’s return, David understands that he can not delay his artistic evolution. This looks like denying his heart’s desires to make heavy, aggressive, and fun bass music as Ghengar.

Under the Instagram announcement, Ghastly makes sure to include a special live stream invitation for fans. Moreover, David will hang out with fans to listen to the projects and songs he has made under Ghastly. Furthermore, the evolving artist includes that he will have an in-depth explanation of his decision.
