Kaskade unveils new daytime show concept ‘undux’ with tour starting this fall

Kaskade Has Launched a new Daylight Tour, undux, to Unravel Dance Music Norms.

Kaskade has officially unveiled his latest brainchild, undux, a five-city daylight tour that flips the script on the traditional club scene. The Grammy-nominated dance music pioneer has taken his stripped-back Redux concept and gone full enlightenment mode, announcing shows set in open-air, sunlit spaces across North America.

Since dropping the news, fans have watched Kaskade break yet another mold. With undux, he has promised to “undo” the overproduced, overstimulated nightlife format and replace it with something much simpler: natural light, artful venues, and unfiltered connection. Whether it’s a rooftop session in Toronto, creekside under NYC’s K Bridge, a park in Dallas, or spacious ruins in Atlanta and San Francisco, he’s chosen unlikely spaces to deliver uniquely raw experiences.

Kaskade has explained that undux isn’t about scaling up; it’s about stripping back. “Lights and lasers are great,” he’s said, “but what happens when we subtract the flash and just let music, sunlight, and humans do the work?” Fans have enthusiastically embraced the idea, with many already signing up for the presale at undux.live since the announcement.

The tour kicks off August 22 in Toronto and continues through New York, Dallas, San Francisco, and Atlanta. Each venue has been curated to highlight community, architecture, and, yes, golden-hour lighting. And if this feels like Redux’s artsy, outdoorsy cousin, it is. But this time, sunscreen is highly encouraged.

Over the past year, Kaskade has kept fans engaged with historic performances, including DJing the Super Bowl, spinning at the Formula 1 starting grid, and continuing “I Remember” with Kx5, as well as collaborating with deadmau5. But undux? It’s the most introspective move he’s made since deciding lasers aren’t always necessary.

Kaskade hasn’t just launched a new show. He’s sparked a sun-drenched rebellion one dance floor at a time. Whether audiences gather under bridges or among ruins, undux has promised one thing: sunlight, sound, and soul, minus the sensory overload.
