Michael Bibi hosts Ibiza pop-up set to support local cancer center
Michael Bibi blesses Ibiza with a surprise charity beach set, donating all proceeds to a local cancer center to show how music continues to heal.
Michael Bibi has launched his Ibiza 2025 season in the most heartfelt way—by hosting a surprise charity pop-up set on the beach. The impromptu performance drew crowds and admiration, not only for his signature groovy house music but for the meaningful cause it supported.
The DJ and producer based in the UK, who has battled CNS Lymphoma over the past year, has chosen to give back to the local community that has long welcomed him. He has donated 100% of the proceeds from the pop-up to @apaacasociacion, a local cancer support center in Ibiza that offers essential services and resources to patients and families on the island.
By staging the performance with little notice, Michael Bibi has reinforced his belief in the healing power of music. Fans and locals alike have gathered under the Ibiza sun to dance, reflect, and unite early in the season, turning the beach into a place of both joy and solidarity.
“This wasn’t about promotion or profit,” he has shared on social media. “It’s about gratitude, community, and showing that music continues to be a force for healing.” His words have resonated widely, echoing the deeper mission behind his return to the stage following his personal recovery and health journey.

The event has marked not only the start of Ibiza’s summer season but also a milestone in Bibi’s ongoing journey as an artist and survivor. He continues to slowly release new music and throw a series of block parties around the world with compassion-reminding him that the dance world can be just as powerful as sound.
Michael Bibi has long been known for drawing a crowd full of raw energy and house music people dance to, but this spontaneous act of giving has cemented his legacy as someone using his platform for genuine impact. With Bibi back in action, Ibiza 2025 has officially begun—with heart.
