Kasper Marott faints on DJ decks during Berghain performance
Berghain’s crowd goes into panic as artist faints behind the decks during performance.
Kasper Marott’s latest performance at Berghain leaves a literal mark on him as he earns a scar from falling behind the decks during his performance. Kasper Marott took to Instagram to share and give thanks to the legendary venue for bringing him a speedy recovery and allowing him to finish his set. The artist is keen to note drugs nor alcohol were at fault for the incident.
Moreover, Kasper Marott mentions he’s been sober his entire life. He notes “I’ve been sober my whole life, but the rumors are entertaining!” He fainted during his set which temporarily paused the music and the dancers came to a sudden stop. Kasper Marott showed off his new mark on social media.
Kasper Marott is not allowing the rumors around substance use to effect him. In fact, some of the comments were uplifting, as patrons poured out respect in the comments for coming back to finish his set with a towel on his head. Many also commented how amazing the set was and how he literally “left a mark” with his performance.
Originally from Denmark, Kasper Marott has been releasing music since 2014. Known for his high-energy performances, it’s no surprise he’s holding down the decks at Berghain. A club known for it’s techno marathons and no camera rule, this place is all about the music and Kasper Marott delivers.
In 2018, Kasper Marott released ‘Keflavik’ which is considered his breakthrough EP. He released the project on Modeselektor’s Seilscheibenpfeiler label. Resident Advisor named this track as “one of the biggest club records of the year”.
Still rising, Kasper Marott continues to gain global recognition. Also, more and more artists in the industry are becoming vocal about their sobriety journey’s, including Patrick Topping and Rebekah. This shift is helping to de-stigmatize sobriety in the electronic music scene, inspiring both fans and fellow artists to prioritize their well-being while continuing to create and perform.
