Afrojack to launch an afrohouse project
A cheekily appropriate pivot given his stage name, Afrojack has launched his new afro-house project “AfroSalto” with Gregor Salto and Mednas.
Celebrated for his trailblazing contributions to the electronic scene, Afrojack is embarking on an exciting new chapter in his musical career. Afrojack has teamed up with fellow Dutch DJ/producer Gregor Salto to debut their Afrohouse project, AfroSalto. Along with Miami-based DJ and producer Mednas, the trio recently released their first single, “All the Good Things (Come to an End).”
A fusion of Afrojack’s signature style and Salto’s eclectic global influences, AfroSalto marks an intriguing departure from their usual work. Taking a page from Salto’s book, Afrojack is pursuing a new focus on the soulful grooves and rhythmic beats of afrohouse. Undoubtedly, their new track speaks to cherishing moments with loved ones before they fade, a quintessential character of afrohouse. Unquestionably, the track aims to redefine Afrohouse by blending emotional storytelling with the genre’s signature tribal rhythms and organic percussion.

Afrojack, whose 20-year career has been marked by massive hits and collaborations across the electronic spectrum, is no stranger to taking bold risks. With over a decade of experience, the Dutch DJ has solidified his throne in the industry, performing at major festivals like Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland, and EDCLV. He has had chart-topping hits like “Take Over Control” and “No Beef”, collaborating with icons like David Guetta and Martin Garrix. Moreover, Afrojack’s massive success has gained him numerous awards and accolades, including his 2011 Grammy Award for Best (Non-Classical) Remixed Recording.
With AfroSalto and “All the Good Things (Come to an End),” Afrojack proves that even after a decade at the top, there is still much room for innovation. The track will certainly make waves in the Afrohouse scene and beyond, paving the way for more exciting releases to come in 2025.
