Brooklyn Monarch to host queer holiday rave this month, ‘Sleigh Con’

The Brooklyn Monarch will transform into a sensual Winter Wonderland for Chlomosexual Present’s queer rave Sleigh Con.

Don your gay apparel and mark yourself busy the evening of Friday, December 20 for an attention-grabbing experience. Chlomosexual Presents is hosting a queer holiday rave called Sleigh Con at a top-notch New York City dance venue. EDM hot post Brooklyn Monarch will transform into a seasonal paradise that rivals infamous bar crawl Santa Con with its raucous activity and shenanigans.

The music event will host an amazing lineup of some of the best DJs and producers in the NYC area, highlight well-known faces and reality television stars, and glimmer with interactive showcases. Event organizers “promise” that it will be a vibrant “celebration of queer joy and community. Leave the ugly sweaters at home from 10 pm to 4 am, unless you’re planning on whipping it off late at night at Sleigh Con, a spectacular EDM series hosted by Chlomosexual Presents.

This isn’t the first time the event company has shown up and shown out at the Brooklyn Monarch. The first appearance was such a success that they’re returning to 23 Meadow Street for a night of DJ tunes, and move masters with presents from FLAMER. The Sleigh Con dress code is to simply serve holiday and “sleigh.”

It wouldn’t be a true holiday-themed event without a bar crawl to match. Before heading to the Brooklyn Monarch, start your night early from 6 to 8 pm at Please Tell Me, before making your way over to The Woodshop for more cheer from 8 to 10 pm. Both pregame spots have free entry. Anyone can come to the pre-party before heading to Sleigh Con.

Gender-fluid influencer and performer Miss Daddi regularly breaks fashion and gender norms. For Sleigh Con, they are dressing up as Santa Claus and deciding whether music fans deserve a spot on the naughty or nice list. Aquaria, an international fashion model, performer, and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 winner, was daring when she headlined the 2019 Met Gala as the first drag queen on the red carpet. Now she will take her edge a step further with a boiler-room-style set.

Several of New York City’s hottest DJs are bringing the beats and the heat all night long. Stop by to hear the musical stylings of Vantage, Highgnx, Antide_xx, and Paul Tomasiello. Live visuals will by done by Tina Tarighian, event photography shot from Lex Parker’s lens, Devscans provided by Devin Kasparian with performances from Hillary Henry and Zoe Fustgaar. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. Prices start at $12.51. All attendees must be over 21 years old.
