Party Favor announces end of project after 13 years with final EP
EDM artist PARTY FAVOR has commemorated over a decade of success in the industry by dropping his last EP.
Remember, nothing lasts forever. After 13 years of dance hits and music collaborations, American EDM DJ and producer Dylan Ragland, better known by his stage name, PARTY FAVOR, released his final EP, ‘The Party Never Dies’. That wasn’t all he dropped. To pay tribute to his expansive career spanning over ten years, he prepared a funeral music video that includes over 20 recognizable artists in the industry.
The almost ten-minute video was posted on YouTube and features appearances from Dillon Francis, Atrak, 4B, AC Slater, Valentino Khan, Bijou, Rossy Kate, and more. It celebrates the legacy PARTY FAVOR left behind and his lasting influence in music. Many of them dropped anecdotes and kind words about him.
PARTY FAVOR has captivated crowds at major festivals like Coachella and Ultra Music Festival, and performed during iconic residencies at several top venues, like LIV Nightclub in Las Vegas. He has had over 500 million streams and standout collaborations on his transformative album RESET, been nominated for a Grammy for his SIDEPIECE project, and produced a YouTube series called Kinda Isolated. The DJ said in an official statement that the EP is “very special and bittersweet” to him because “it’s the end of a chapter.”
“It was the idea that when we sleep, the music lives on, and I wanted to convey that sense of euphoria and fun in the music from the beginning. This EP to me is a collection of just plain fun pieces of dance music that represent different parts of my journey as PF. And, Now that we are at the end of my era, the party will continue, but it will never die,” PARTY FAVOR explained.
PARTY FAVOR has pushed boundaries and delivered timeless hits and five-star shows all while blending trap, bass, and house sounds together. Some of his most memorable songs include “In My Head” featuring Georgia Ku and Bap U. With The Party Never Dies, he closes out his 13-year legacy with a unique display of his diverse brand, through visual storytelling and different music genres on his final EP.
The EP tracklist consists of seven songs that will have you moving your hips and dancing to the beat. Titles included “Rinse Repeat”, “I Want U”, “Buggin”, and “Body” with Whethan and Katy Tiz.
