Dancefestopia unveils phase 1 of bass-driven lineup for 2025 edition

Long-running music and arts festival Dancefestopia has revealed the first phase of its bass-heavy lineup for its 2025 showcase.

The music event will occur from September 1 to 7, 2025, at Wildwood Outdoor Education Center in La Cygne, Kansas. The non-profit children’s camp has been Dancefestopia‘s home since 2018. The roster consisted of 50 chart-topping artists expected to bring the bass during the weeklong festivities from Thursday to Sunday and will celebrate 13 years of enchantment, wonder, and bass next year.

Dance music fans will come together to celebrate the 13 years of enchantment, wonder, and bass in the magical Emerald City.  Across an entire week, the high-energy festival will bring big vibes to the Midwest region with over 200 performers, art installations, outdoor camping, and daily activities across five stages.

To kick off the weekend shenanigans, Wooli was tapped to start the fun on Thursday, September 4. Subtronics is set to headline on Friday, September 5, Excision will take over the mainstage on Saturday, September 6, and so will Slander on Sunday, September 7. AlleyCvt, Eptic, Nightmre, Snails, Wonky Willa, and other favorites are also expected to take the stage at the music showcase. It’s unclear which stages they’re performing at, but more artists are expected to be announced soon. Each of the five stages at Dancefestopia will bring a different energy and feel to the festival.

The Emerald Stage will have a world-class production highlighting national artists and is powered by PK Sound. The Lollipop Stage has been designated the place to be from Thursday to Sunday, from morning to night. When bass heads want to relax, they can take a trip to the Rekinection Experience, which combines musical programming, meditation, yoga, and aerial fire dances all weekend long, 24/7. There are also so many vendors to explore. Guests can also hit up the camper-only stage, known as The Forest Stage, which will go strong from Monday to Sunday.

The festival is nestled within a forest and surrounded by ponds and lakes, which is optimal for the avid camper. Dancefestopia offers several activities outside of the stages, including a Flying Monkey zip line, a rock climbing wall, and fishing with a valid license.  If you’re interested in another mode of fun, float around the Emerald Pond in a canoe, or partake in the wicked pool parties.
