Step into the soundscape of EDC Orlando 2024

EDC Orlando 2024 took us inside the music, immersing us in an unforgettable collision of sound and production.

EDC Orlando has long been a cornerstone of the electronic dance music scene, drawing fans from all over to celebrate music, art, and community. This year, the festival returned bigger and bolder than ever, delivering a jaw-dropping experience that blended s-tier performances with unparalleled production.

With electronic music continuing to thrive in mainstream culture, EDC Orlando 2024 saw a surge in attendance, especially during its sold-out weekend. The larger crowds brought an undeniable energy to the festival, but navigating between stages proved to be more time-consuming—a minor downside to an otherwise incredible event.

Addressing these concerns directly, Pasquale Rotella reassured fans via Instagram that public safety remains Insomniac’s top priority and announced plans to expand the festival grounds for 2025. Read his full announcement here.

This year’s lineup was nothing short of impressive, featuring top-tier artists across all genres and ensuring each stage brought something unique to the table. Standout moments included unforgettable back-to-back sets from Dillon Francis and Discolines, as well as Kaskade and Alison Wonderland, offering never before seen experiences for the crowd. While the performances mesmerized, it was the festival’s production that elevated the event to an entirely new level.

The kineticFIELD’s stunning cathedral design stood as a centerpiece, a towering structure with flying drones illuminating the night sky. Meanwhile, Stereobloom, unassuming by day, transformed into a killer setup with mesmerizing visuals that perfectly complemented sets by Noizu, Odd Mob, and Waxtroda.

Neon Garden offered a completely different vibe, hosting a Club Space takeover that channeled the iconic energy of Miami’s after-hours scene. With minimal screens and a darker aesthetic, the stage became the perfect home for unforgettable performances by Mochakk and Beltran.

However, for me, Circuit Grounds stole the spotlight. The stage design and sound engineering were next-level, creating an immersive bass haven that brought acts like Boogie T and Zeds Dead to life. The elevated VIP area at Circuit Grounds added another layer of magic, offering unparalleled views that made you feel engulfed by the music.
The VIP experience was a key feature of the festival. With perks like free cotton candy, a barber station, and the Volta beauty bar, Insomniac ensured the VIP experience was as memorable as the music itself. Beyond the amenities, the extra space offered a reprieve from the bustling crowds, making it worth every penny.

As always, EDC Orlando brought its signature touches—parades of whimsical performers, jaw-dropping fireworks, and a palpable sense of wonder that radiated across Tinker Field. But this year, the synergy of extraordinary production, an expertly curated lineup, and festival easter eggs made this time one for the books.

An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
