Who are the GRAMMY nominees for Best Dance/Electronic Album 2024?

Kaytranada, Justice, Charli XCX & More have spotlighted this year’s electronic dance categories as 2025 Grammy nominees.

The 2025 Grammy Awards have announced their nominations this week, bringing excitement and anticipation across all genres. This year’s nominees have continued to captivate the music industry by storm, with Beyoncé landing in 11 categories, and artists like Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and The Beatles entering the chat. Categories have included a blend of genres from traditional classics to growing trends in modern pop culture, especially EDM.

The category of Best Dance/Electronic Album involves innovation from artists who make unique sounds outside of the traditional norm. For instance, Charli XCX’s ‘Brat’ landed a spot after the album created a social media trend by storm, while Four Tet continues to impress his fans with his album ‘Three’. Justice’s ‘Hyperdrama’ and Zedd’s ‘Telos‘ have both garnered attention by surprise as neither artist released an album since 2015. Kaytranada’s ‘Timeless‘ has also earned a nomination, after winning two Grammys in 2021.

In the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category, Disclosure earned a nomination for their top track “She’s Gone, Dance On” after a few years of unreleased music. Four Tet’s “Loved” and “Leavemealone” by Fred Again… & Baby Keem has also secured nominations. Justice and Tame Impala’s “Neverender” also secured a spot after the French duo came out of a 5-year hiatus, and Kaytranada’s “Witchy,” featuring Childish Gambino rounds out this dynamic category.

In the Best Dance Pop Recording category, which was introduced last year, Madison Beer’s “Make You Mine” has received acclaim alongside Charli XCX’s “Von Dutch.” Billie Eilish’s “L’Amour De Ma Vie (Over Now Extended Edit)” and Ariana Grande’s “Yes, And” have also been nominated, each giving a unique flavor to the fusion of dance and pop. Troye Sivan rounds out the category with his hit “Got Me Started.”

Best Remixed Recording also highlights the Electronic Dance involvement in the Recording Academy. Kaytranada’s remix of Doechii’s “Alter Ego” has gained praise, as has David Guetta’s remix of Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” FNZ and Mark Ronson’s “Espresso” remix of Sabrina Carpenter’s song also stands out, alongside the Amapiano remix of Julian Marley’s “Jah Sees Them” and Charli XCX’s “Von Dutch” with A.G. Cook and Addison Rae.

This year’s nominations have showcased artists who have consistently shaped the sound of modern music and continue to grow trends all across the music industry. Although there can be surprises over the last decade with Skrillex winning 6 Grammys at the time he produced his old-school dubstep, and Beyoncé winning all two in the Electronic/Dance category in 2022, the Awards celebrate those who work tirelessly on making a track or album to be heard by the public, and spread their message of joy through music on tour. With the Grammy ceremony on the horizon, fans and musicians alike eagerly await to see who will take home awards on February 2nd.
