The Disco Biscuits announce new Alaskan cruise festival called SeaBisco
The Disco Biscuits have announced the debut of SeaBisco, the answer to the void Camp Bisco left behind.
The legendary psychedelic rock and funk band The Disco Biscuits has announced its newest festival, aptly named SeaBisco. Hosted aboard a cruise ship in Alaska, the festival will feature six sets from The Disco Biscuits and Friends from September 9th to the 15th.
Hop aboard and set sail. Joining The Disco Biscuits on the high seas are Of The Trees, Chromeo, Tycho, Justin Martin, Maddy O’Neal, Mr. Carmack, and many others. There will be an exclusive set from Tractor Beam (The Disco Biscuits alter-ego), for attendees who book the first 450 cabins on the ship. The lineup of artists will expand as the departure date gets closer.
Setting sail from a port in Seattle, Washington, the Norwegian Jade will journey to Juneau and Sitka, Alaska, stopping in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The captivating and unique tunes from The Disco Biscuits will play against the stunning backdrop of Alaskan glaciers, mountains, and marine life. The Disco Biscuits have beckoned listeners and fans to their shows since their inception at the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. No stranger to the festival production, they hosted the infamous Camp Bisco for 17 years in Scranton, PA.
Festivals in Alaska have become increasingly common in the past few years. Anchorage, Alaska hosts the Sacred Acre Festival in September. The eternal daylight of Alaska in September makes for a mind-bending experience as the sun never sets on the party. SeaBisco will also host experiences throughout the week with unique activities and on-land excursions into the vast natural beauty of Alaska and Canada.
“This immersive experience offers a one-of-a-kind fusion of hypnotic performances, energizing flow sessions, and deep connections with fellow fans. Whether you’re losing yourself under the lights or finding your zen between sets, the SeaBisco Cruise guarantees unforgettable moments of euphoria, inspiration, and connection through music.” Get ready to set sail with The Disco Biscuits this September.
