Excision’s Paradise Blue Festival announces 2026 return in Cancun

Excision’s Paradise Blue Festival has announced that it will take a hiatus in 2025 and return to Cancun in 2026.

Excision‘s annual Paradise Blue Festival hosted in Cancun will be on hiatus this year and hopefully return in 2026. The festival took to Instagram to announce the news to fans and attendees.

The festival wrote in their post, “After 3 amazing years of Paradise Blue, we won’t be returning to Cancun this spring. We’re going to miss being on the beach with all of you! We’re working towards bringing the event back in 2026, so be sure to sign up for event updates on the website! Thank you, Paradise Blue fam!” In the post’s caption, they continued to say, “It’s been a great 3 years on the beach! While we won’t be returning to Cancún this spring, we are working towards bringing Paradise Blue back in 2026, so be sure to sign up for event updates! Thank you.”

Paradise Blue is an Excision-hosted festival, and Jeff has had quite the year. He has gotten engaged, married, and recently welcomed a new baby with his wife Emma Livorno. The couple welcomed a baby son on October 1st, 2024; the name of their newborn has yet to be shared.

Right now, there are conflicting reasons for putting this festival on hiatus. Half of the commentators say it is because of the cost of permits needed to put this festival on at the Cancun Resort. The other half say it is because of Excision taking some much-needed time to begin his life as a family of three with his wife Emma and newborn son.

One commenter, @/findinghighs wrote, “My heart hurts. The place I said yes to my future husband. Part of our journey. The place we were going to take our friends and family to celebrate our marriage. Thanks for all you do @excision we will be waiting for the day we can return. My heart belongs to paradise. ‘Cheers to our love, cheers to our life, and cheers to always being in paradise together’.” Bass heads will have to wait another year to see what happens next with Paradise Blue.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
