Melodic techno artist Robot Sunrise to bring unique live-hybrid orchestral set to LA

Innovative techno DJ Robot Sunrise is set to host an exclusive, multi-sensory event in Downtown LA, with a portion of proceeds going to charity.

Melodic techno artist Robot Sunrise, the solo project of producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Danny Klein, will unveil his immersive, live-hybrid orchestra showcase, The Robot Sunrise Experience. on Saturday, November 9, in Downtown Los Angeles. The Robot Sunrise Experience live hybrid orchestra will be a performance that fuses live orchestral music with DJing and contemporary sound design techniques. This event is sure to provide a unique blend of traditional and modern sounds.

Joining Robot Sunrise will be an ensemble that includes GRAMMY-nominated, multi-instrumentalist Chihsuan and trumpeter Zach Ramacier. This exclusive one-night event will also showcase a captivating DJ set from Bright Lights, whose collaborations with superstars like Justin Bieber and Hardwell have garnered over one billion streams across various platforms. Fans can look forward to sets from Little Dinosaur, who recently performed at Coachella, and Lightning In A Bottle, as well as Mikey Made, the founder of Off The Grid Campout. Additionally, 10-year-old DJ prodigy Derringer, who wowed audiences at the SoCal edition of Off The Grid Campout, and RK Midnight will also be performing. 

It’s been announced that this group of DJ’s will portray Robot Sunrise characters on stage and in the crowd as the Robot Sunrise story is told through expressive dance on an extravagant custom stage and lighting setup to highlight the entire event. These characters will represent AI beings trapped in an exploitative corporate slave trade, who start to develop human-like emotions such as love, awareness of mortality, and a desire for freedom and independence. It will be interesting to see how these traits translate into their sounds. 

The Robot Sunrise Experience is designed as a “micro-festival,” featuring a diverse selection of food, drinks, and vendors. This all-night melodic techno event will transform a warehouse with a capacity of over 600 and will convey the experience through music, visuals, and interpretive dance led by Ultra Music Festival’s lead aerialist Frankie Tan.

The core theme of The Robot Sunrise Experience will focus on liberation and supporting the oppressed. Danny Klein will demonstrate his commitment and translate this message into real-world action by making donations to the Human Rights Foundation.
