Ultra to release 25-part documentary series to celebrate 25th anniversary

Ultra has announced that a new documentary series episode will drop on YouTube every Monday leading up to the 25th anniversary edition in March.

Just days after unveiling the electric phase one lineup for their upcoming 2025 festival in Miami, Ultra has decided to keep the excitement rolling with another big announcement. In a post on social media, Ultra has shared plans for an epic 25-part YouTube documentary series in honor of next year’s 25th anniversary. A new episode will be posted every Monday at noon eastern time until the festival kicks off on March 28th, 2025.

Per Ultra’s announcement post, the documentary series will “relive the most iconic memories, artists, and moments from our history.” They did not specify how long each of these 25 episodes will be, nor whether each episode will focus on a specific year at Ultra Miami or bounce around through time. Clarity will likely come with the first episode drop this Monday, October 7th.

A star-studded trailer for the series provides a peek into what fans can expect every Monday. The trailer teases interviews with legends like Tiësto and Armin Van Buuren, with the latter claiming, “If it wasn’t for Ultra, dance music would sound different now.” Filling out the trailer are clips featuring other massive names like Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and Avicii, and more bold quotes like “Ultra is the highest quality festival that you can get.”

As anticipation builds for the momentous 25th anniversary edition of Ultra Miami, this docu-series will help tide fans over until the big day. With more than two decades of show-stopping performances and had-to-be-there moments, there is certainly no shortage of content for the series to reminisce on.
