In his post, Digweed announced that he is no longer dependent on an IV drip and took the opportunity to thank the hospital staff who treated him during this challenging time. “No more IVs,” he wrote, adding, “I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who have taken amazing care of me over the last 10 days. They have been truly amazing, especially when so far from home.” He also expressed appreciation for the support from his fans and followers, stating that their kind words helped him get through his hospital stay.

Digweed’s illness was first made public on September 23, when his management team shared a statement on Instagram explaining that the DJ had fallen seriously ill and would be unable to fulfill his upcoming commitments. As a result, three scheduled performances had to be canceled, including a show at Bar Americas in Guadalajara on September 26, as well as two highly anticipated joint performances with his longtime collaborator Sasha in Mexico City and Dallas.

Unfortunately, his symptoms worsened, leading to his hospitalization and the cancellation of his performances. Despite Digweed’s absence, the Mexico City event proceeded with Sasha performing solo.
