From newcomer to trendsetter: How Resorts World is attracting a new generation of Vegas-goers

Las Vegas has always been a hub for nightlife and entertainment, but the Strip is now evolving with more modern destinations designed for a new wave of visitors.

Standing out among Vegas’ latest developments is Resorts World, a stylish, modern resort shaking up the city’s iconic hotel and casino scene. While classic spots like Bellagio and Caesars still have their charm, Resorts World offers something new for both party-goers and seasoned Vegas enthusiasts alike.

Newly opened in 2021, the resort is massive, with two towers—Hilton and Conrad—that has a clean, polished ambiance carried throughout the lobby, casino, and guest rooms. The resort includes a variety of sit-down restaurants and features The District, a shopping area with designer stores and even its own replica of The Sphere.

The casino floor, though a bit smaller than some of its Vegas counterparts, is kept spotless and has an delightfully attentive waitstaff. On the weekend you might find yourself at the Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge, a 1920s-themed bar tucked inside the casino with live music and dance performances.

For unique and casual eats, the resort’s food hall, Famous Foods Street Eats, features a wide array of Asian-inspired cuisine and other global dishes. During my stay we indulged in pan-fried dumplings, a spicy pulled pork sandwich, and sushi rolls that were all delicious.

There’s even a hidden speakeasy, Lucky Cat, tucked behind a blue bookshelf for those seeking a secret cocktail experience. Other side-missions to find yourself on within the resort is Alle Lounge on 66, a rooftop bar offering unbeatable views of the Strip and Jalisco, an underground tequila bar.

The pool area at Resorts World is a must-go for its lush design and large turf area equipped with outdoor games. The atmosphere feels like a true oasis to escape the Vegas heat. Though, the real hidden gem, is the Athena Infinity Pool, an adults-only pool with a private bar and great views of the Strip. It’s one of the rare infinity pools you’ll find thoughout Las Vegas.

Along with the new resort and casino was the resurrection of Zouk Nightclub. This massive club spans over 26,000 square feet equipped with cutting-edge LED lighting and sound systems.

With electronic dance music infiltrating the Vegas nightlife scene, Zouk offers a stacked residency lineup including artists like Illenium, Deadmau5, RL Grime, Kaskade, Dj Snake, Duke Dumont and many more. The space is massive with stunning production and even if you don’t consider yourself a raver, the energy and experience itself is worth seeing.

Though it’s situated a bit farther down the Strip, Resorts World makes up for it by offering everything you need for an unforgettable stay. From stylish rooms and exciting attractions to shopping and vibrant nightlife, it has all the bases covered. It’s no surprise that this resort draws a younger crowd, thanks to its modern vibe and commitment to delivering a top-tier experience.
