Anna Lunoe makes career milestone with debut album ‘Pearl’
Anna Lunoe has announced that her debut album ‘Pearl’ will be released on October 25 after a period of changing her perspective on her music career.
To get ready for the upcoming release of her debut album ‘Pearl,’ Anna Lunoe has dropped its title track. The electronic-pop song has shown Lunoe’s ability to craft art fit for the dance floor. The artist has opened up about shifting her focus from being in the music industry to a DJ.
The Australian producer had explained that her original goal was to pay rent as a local performer. She opened up about feeling like she had to be an artist before a DJ after gaining momentum. Lunoe looked back on that time and described the difference between her perspective on music then versus now.
“…In a way, this marks a kinda colossal shift in perspective on my career to date, putting my artistry at the front in a way I never have before,” Lunoe said. The artist has been making music for over a decade and began as a singer-songwriter. After moving to Los Angeles in 2012, she continued to pursue a career in DJing, getting her start by hosting shows on FBi RADIO and Ministry of Sound Australia.
Lunoe has made a name for herself with bright electropop and support from artists like Skrillex, Chris Lake, and Flume. She has played festivals like Coachella, Ultra, and Lollapalooza, and has a Boiler Room set schedule at the end of the year.
The musician now has a weekly show on Apple Music 1, several charing songs, and multiple collaborations. She also announced a United States tour with 11 dates in cities like Brooklyn, Orlando, and Las Vegas this winter. Before the Pearl Album Tour, she will finish her 2-month run with The Weeknd and open for Dom Dolla.
‘Pearl’ is available for pre-order now and its title track is on all streaming platforms. More information on the upcoming album and tour is on her official website.
