Fred Again.. discusses falling in and out of love in new album ‘ten days’

Fred Again.. has shared that ‘ten days’ was based on moments that impacted his life, giving an intimate look into the artist’s mind.

Fred Again.. had said that each song exudes a different emotion as the record goes through the ups, downs, and falling out of love. In the vulnerable post, he explained how creating ‘ten days’ allowed him to process the events that had taken place. He revealed that his new album ‘ten days’ had been based on a relationship and the “small, quiet, intimate moments” that affected him. 

The 20-track record was released this month with several collaborations and half of the songs being titled a number correlating to a day. The producer wrote that grief is not linear and that he had gone from having an optimistic perspective to feeling numb. He had noted how the range of emotions is a part of the healing process and making the album helped him through the uncomfortable feelings.

Fred Again.. used the difficult yet beautiful experience of falling in and out of love to make ‘ten days.’ He also opened up about second-guessing releasing music that is so personal. At the end of his post, he wrote, “I feel more intensely all of these things right now than I did when I was making it.”

Listeners thanked the artist for his openness, noting the connection that can be felt through his music. Fred Again.. is no stranger to creating music that targets emotions. His previous series of albums titled ‘Actual Life’ used samples from songs and speeches that played on feelings.

‘ten days’ continues this pattern more personally as Fred Again.. discusses falling in love. At the end of his post, the artist thanked everyone for their support. 

The producer is currently on a North American tour and is performing across the continent until October 13. A 12-inch vinyl of the new album will be released at the end of November and is available to pre-order. ‘ten days’ by Fred Again.. is out on all streaming platforms.
