Odesza celebrates 10-year anniversary of In Return album with special edition vinyl release

ODESZA’s second album, ‘In Return,’ officially turns 10, so the musical duo rewards fans with a special edition vinyl of the album.

All ODESZA fans can agree that ‘In Return’, their second studio album, is a transformational musical masterpiece. Released in 2014, the duo’s unique musical soundscapes showcased through each track were unheard of in the electronic dance music industry. Since then, the rest has been history for the Seattle-based musical group.

Following ‘Summer’s Gone,’ their 2012 debut album, ‘In Return’ was a breathtaking follow-up project featuring numerous ethereal, dreamlike songs that have changed the lives of many music aficionados across the globe. Most ODESZA fans can also agree that even 10 years later, this album still resonates wholeheartedly with them.

Earlier this week, ODESZA turned to social media to share the news surrounding the 10th anniversary of this beautiful album project. In their post, they state that to celebrate this milestone, they will be releasing a special edition of ‘In Return,’ both in digital and vinyl form.

The 10-year special edition vinyl will feature new package artwork, a remaster of the original album, and special remixes from like-minded artists Rüfüs Du Sol, Hayden James, Lane 8, Illenium, and Beat Connection. The duo closes out the post by expressing that this celebration is “a major milestone, we’re so proud of the life this record has lived over the 10 years since its release.”

Moments after ODESZA revealed the news surrounding the 10th anniversary of ‘In Return’, fans rushed to the comments section on Instagram and X to express how impactful the tracks on this album have been on their personal lives. One fan says, “This album changed my life during my sophomore year of HS. I’ll never forget my sophomore year because of this album,” and another writes, “What a time to be alive honestly. this came out my freshman year of college and it just had its own aesthetic especially sun models and the album as a whole brings back so many great memories from my early college days that i miss.”

Clearly, ODESZA has left a tremendous mark on some beautiful souls since they emerged into the music scene. ‘In Return’ has been a fan-favorite for a decade, and it will continue to transform lives for years to come.
