The techno world is buzzing with excitement as Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens announced they will be working on a collaboration together for the very first time. The collab between these two is one you’ll want to add to your calendar (when the release date comes out) because it’s sure to be a masterpiece.

The news broke through a social media post from both DJs that said: “Swipe for a surprise… Something big is coming. Announcement September 5th at 16h (CEST).” The surprise was a photo of the other in separate posts. This simple teaser has fans eagerly anticipating what these two Belgian techno icons have in store.

Details of the collaboration remain under wraps, but the idea of de Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens’ work in one is sending chills down the spines of techno enthusiasts everywhere. Both DJs are renowned for their intense, hard-hitting sets that take people on a journey through the depths of techno. 

The synergy of Charlotte de Witte’s dark, driving beats combined with Amelie Lens’s energetic, acid style is set to be a match made in techno heaven. However, the question is will it be all-out industrial/warehouse techno or a more relaxed, melodic vibe? 

Both Charlotte de Witte, 32, and Amelie Lens, 34, have been making waves in the international techno scene for years, each carving out a unique space in the genre and raising Belgium and Germany’s reputation as a techno hub. The two of them have shown no signs of slowing down either. 

Charlotte De Witte recently launched her own label, KNTXT, which has become a platform for rising techno talent as well as a showcase for her own productions. Amelie Lens continues to expand her global reach, with a string of headlining slots and an ever-growing fan base. With both DJs at the height of their careers, their upcoming release promises to be a momentous occasion that will undoubtedly leave a mark on the techno scene.
