Fans suspect Oasis tour will end abruptly due to previous band conflicts

Fans have already begun speculating whether or not the recently announced Oasis tour will come to fruition following the band’s lengthy history of conflict.

Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher of Oasis have been in a long-standing feud that eventually led to the band’s break-up. Considering their fifteen-year hiatus that began in 2009, the reunion tour had shocked fans when it was revealed. The official announcement had referenced the tension, saying, “The guns have fallen silent.”

“The stars have aligned,” it continued before calling on listeners to catch them live. Fans have started making jokes about the tour being canceled by saying they are already adding on ticket insurance. Others have poked fun at their tour manager and the members, saying they should stay separated until next July.

The Britpop band came to fame with their hit “Wonderwall” before topping the charts, playing to some of the biggest crowds in the United Kingdom, and becoming one of the biggest English bands. The group has been through members since starting in 1991 with the two remaining being Noel and Liam Gallagher. The siblings have documented several incidents that left them estranged and not in contact.

In the past, members of Oasis have argued on stage and gotten into physical and verbal altercations behind the scenes. Internal conflict was shown to the public when Liam headbutted and punched tourists, the media, and more. Noel confirmed in the 2000s that he left the group because of his brother’s behavior, but they have seemingly reconciled and reunited.

Oasis Live ‘25 is kicking off on July 4 at Principality Stadium before they head to Heaton Park and Wembley Stadium. The last shows of the tour will take place in mid-August at Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium and Croke Park. The 14-date run sold out almost immediately, leaving some wondering what their next action would be.

More information on Oasis’ tour is on the band’s official website. The closer the next year gets, the closer fans are to seeing Liam and Noel Gallagher live. Get ready for the tour and watch the band’s official announcement video.
