Will Clarke takes a bold career turn with upcoming ‘Midnight Mass Experience’ live tour

English house music artist Will Clarke has announced a brand new live tour experience following his “retirement” from DJing.

Last week, Will Clarke sent shockwaves through the dance music community with his sudden announcement that he is retiring from DJing. Fans everywhere were saddened and confused by the declaration, especially coming just a few days after he had revealed plans to release his debut album. This week, Clarke cleared the air and posted to let fans know that while he technically won’t be DJing any longer, he will still be out on tour with a brand new live show.

The ‘Midnight Mass Experience’ live tour will be Will Clarke’s first venture into live performance. The tour will visit six cities across North America in November and December: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Detroit, Toronto, Chicago, and New York. Several of Clarke’s musical friends, including the one and only Dom Dolla, hopped in the comments to express their relief that he will continue to perform.

Will Clarke’s live tour name is paired with that of his forthcoming debut album, ‘Midnight Mass.’ The album, which drops November 8th on Armada Music, will comprise 13 songs and include credits from the likes of Hayla and Julia Church. Both the album and the live tour aim to showcase not only the talents of Clarke himself, but the synergy of collaboration that drives dance music.

“I’m tipping my hat to the sound that has defined me so far, but this collection of songs goes beyond just being suitable for a DJ set,” said Clarke. “I wanted each track to have a strong vocal presence and to work both in a club setting and for casual listening. Collaborating with unbelievably talented artists, who became close friends during the process, was the most important part of making this album.”

The dance music world can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Will Clarke isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Tickets for the ‘Midnight Mass Experience’ live tour are available for pre-sale now.
